Welcome to our 2008 virtual bike ride. Thank you for joining our third annual Bike the Planet virtual global bike ride.
Last year groups in France, Brazil, Scotland, Ireland and the US rode and shared their experiences through stories and photos online.
The idea is really simple. Go biking any time, any distance on Saturday or Sunday 19 or 20 April (or Earth Day April 22) in a group or by yourself in your home country - or where ever. Take pictures of your group, the people you meet, the country or urban landscape. Share your photos and your story. The purpose is to have fun, keep in touch with old friends, make new friends, encourage biking and appreciating the planet.
